Plus everyone who buys a ticket for the grotto up to Christmas will be entered into a competition to win £500 to spend at Debenhams in Old Square.

Entertainment will be until 3pm and will feature:

  • Lifesize puppets Hodman Dodmanott and his beautiful wife Sally Forth
  • Santa’s Big Helpers Horace and Boris two towering elves who will decide which youngsters have been naughty or nice.
  • A roller skating Robin Redbreast and Christmas Pudding spreading Christmas cheer
  • There will be free festive facepainting for children to enjoy.

Tickets for the grotto are £4.50 and include a small gift.

The grotto will be open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and then every day from 18 December until Christmas Eve.
